Robb Almy- Pastor/ Church Planter
The church planter for New Season UMC is Robb Almy. Robb is married to Diana and they have three sons, Robert who is seven, Jack who is five, and Nolan who is two. Robb has been in pastoral ministry for eleven years now serving churches in both Caroline and Hanover Counties before coming to the Fredericksburg area. He was ordained an elder in the Virginia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church in June of 2004. Originally from Massachusetts, Robb came to Virginia to attend Randolph-Macon College where he received his Bachelors degree and more importantly met his wife, ministry partner, and soul mate, Diana. In 2001, Robb received the Master of Divinity degree from Union Theological Seminary and Presbyterian School of Christian Education in Richmond and the degree Doctor of Ministry in 2009 from Union Theological Seminary and Presbyterian School of Christian Education.
Diana was born and raised in Stafford County, Virginia. After completing her degree work at Randolph-Macon College Diana went on to Dental School at MCV, completed her residency in Orthodontics at MCV, and has opened up her own practice- Fredericksburg Orthodontics- in the Lee's Hill area of Spotsylvania.
Robert is vivacious seven-year old. His energy never runs out and he keeps his mom and dad very busy and brings them so much joy. Jack has more energy than his brother and keeps his mom and dad on their toes. Nolan is quickly growing up and into all things!
Brittany Bartlett- Celebration Team Leader
Brittany Bartlett's belief in Christ began as a young child: she would place her hands on family members who were sick and pray for them. The sweetness of her spirit could be heard in her voice. At age five she was singing in the church, and at ten she was using an instrument to express herself (the school principle paid her first instrument rental fee: he was a godly man that thought it was important for her to learn how to play). Around 15 she used her first guitar to glorify Jesus Christ. Her passion to expose the enemy's dark lies and provoke revolution in the hearts of the hopeless can be herd in the music she writes. Brittany is passionate about God's people and especially burdened for victims of abuse and domestic violence. She is currently finishing up a B.A. of Religion at Liberty University and plans to pursue a Masters in Counseling to become more effective helping people in need.
